What You Get

The Exerpeutic TF1000 is a compact and high-capacity treadmill with an impressive 400-pound weight limit, making it suitable for a wide range of users. With a maximum speed of 4 MPH and a deck size of 20″ x 40″, it provides a comfortable and stable walking experience at a slow pace, so this treadmill is not designed for jogging or running. When compared to other higher-end walking treadmills we tested, the Exerpeutic TF1000 is much quieter and smaller.

The treadmill is equipped with a 1.5 HP motor, which is ideal for walking exercises. There are two manual incline options of 3% and 6% degrees to provide some extra challenges to your workouts. Additionally, it features an LCD screen that provides user data, including the distance covered, calories burned, and heart rate information, helping you monitor your progress effectively.

The treadmill can track your heart rate with its hand pulse pads on the handrails.

The long handrails offer support for balance, and the machine does not rock or sway during workouts.

The Exerpeutic TF1000 is also extremely quietly. When testing at a regular walking speed of 3 mph, I can listen to music at a normal volume and hear the doorbell without any disturbance.

Folding Design and Small Footprint

This machine has a small footprint at 51.2″ L x 32″ W and it does fold. Its small size, folding design, and transport wheels make it very convenient for home and office use.

Having a compact walking treadmill is crucial for those with limited space in their homes or offices and the TF1000 is one of the smallest ones you can find. It is portable and very easy to move around, providing the flexibility to exercise in different rooms.

Display

The TF1000 is an entry-level walking treadmill with a very basic LCD screen. The display shows elapsed walking time, the number of calories burned, distance, and heart rate. There are 5 buttons built into the console for adjusting the speed, changing the mode, start/stop, and set/reset current workout data.

The speed controls are conveniently located on both the handrail and console so you won’t need to reach to the console to change the speed.

It also has a safety key with a cord for an emergency stop.

Warranty

The Exerpeutic TF1000 comes with an excellent motor warranty, but we believe the frame warranty could be improved. This treadmill provides a 5-year motor warranty, which protects you from any potential motor defects over a significant period. In addition to the motor warranty, the treadmill is also covered by a 1-year frame warranty.

Pros and Cons

The TF1000 has its advantages and flaws, below is an overview:

We like;

  • Very affordable
  • Compact size and foldable design
  • It’s just the right treadmill for those seeking to walk slowly nothing less nothing more
  • High user weight capacity
  • Manual incline
  • Good motor warranty

We don’t like:

  • Ony two manual incline options of 3% and 6% degrees
  • Small deck size

In Conclusion

Slow pace walking is an excellent workout for individuals aiming to lose weight, and the TF1000 proves to be a good high-capacity walking treadmill that is affordable, compact, and durable. Its high-weight capacity, stable frame with long handrails, and warranty make it a standout option within its price range. The only potential drawback is its limited 2 position manual incline. Nevertheless, for those seeking a budget-friendly walking treadmill, the TF1000 remains a compelling choice.
